I have had horrible posture all my life and suffer from lower and upper back pain occasionally. Is yoga a good place to start to correct this? If it is not, can you recommend a workout program to develop better posture? Thanks.

Yoga is a great place to start... but the best place is... stand and sit up straight... seriously... right this second... get up straight and stay that way! Problem solved... now you can enjoy yoga... Smile

Hey! I'm new to yoga & liveexercise but love love love your show! You guys really make it fun! I'm wondering if I can use yoga in place of strength training with weights. Will I get similar results & tone or is there really no substitute? I'm training for a marathon & don't really have much extra time since I'm running 4-5 days a week.

Every type of training has its place, but with that said, if all you have time for is one thing other than running, yoga is probably your best bet. Weighted or resisted exercises are the best for building more muscle but Yoga will tone as well as stretch and take care of those overworked muscles.

Hi guys,

I have a chronic knee issue and a neuromuscular disorder that have caused a ton of stiffness in my legs (mainly the quads) and a little in my lower back. I need to work on my flexibility and strength, but cant put a lot of pressure on my joint. Can you recommend a few of your episodes? I like 23.

Tonicity is a weird thing... to much stretch and your back to square 1. Unfortunately I think it will be trial and error, with some modification. I'm not familiar enough with the archives to say, but we can start working some stuff in if you can tell me what helps you to stretch without creating more stiffness.

Just did my first ever Yoga show tonight. That was a lot harder than I ever thought it was going to be. I am clearly not as flexible as I thought I was and still need to work on my balance. But that is what I'm going to do, work on it. Adding this show in weekly.

excellent show! I enjoyed the fast pace. Actually I was training for a half marathon as well as my wife Sarah, but now we are expecting our third child in June. I'm just maintaining fitness right now and these shows have helped me tremendously. Have a great weekend and I'll probably do the Chiseled Cardio on Sunday. I look forward to it! thanks!!!

I wanted to tell you that I found Live Exercise on my Roku box today when I got home and started off with the first Yoga show available. That was a great 45 minutes, great sense of humor and I was entertained as well as worked out. I will definitely be here more.... Glad I stumbled into this channel/Site today. Awesome

Great show this week. I really need to incorporate more yoga into my next month's training. I went much higher on the cardio last month and that helped for weight loss, but I think more yoga will be overall more beneficial. Trying to determine how best to do that, but I know I won't regret it.
