And the crowd says Bruno Bruno Bruno. Welcome to live exercise family and thanks for continuing the legacy of the MMA show. Great workout especially the takedown exercises at the end. I cannot wait for the next lesson.
great shows! I was going to order the MMA version but I did not because I dont have enough space in my room to work out MMA style. But I did order Mega Resistance. Hey in the future maybe you could have Brock Lesner come in a workout on a show live on MMA now that would be awesome!
Congratulations to Rashad Evans and Coach Van Arsedale for win in UFC 133. All the hard work paid off. Thanks for chance to see some your preparation and training here in Live Exercise.
Another great workout Coach Van thanks for implementing the low kick into our workout and one can never go wrong when bringing in an ab workout... As for Brother Alexandre go get your belt.... 2012 Champion and beyond....
Having experience with MMA training, these classes are spot on. The only thing lacking is a coach right next to you correcting your form but for a guy (me) who can't make it to the boxing gym lately - this program is great! Nice focus on form from Van Arsdale and a great MMA circuit at the end of each episode! The last two episodes where you trained Aurelio and Alexandre were the best yet. The program flows better when you have guest fighters who are used to these specific moves. No offense to your previous guests (I love Pfiester's and Kassel's individual shows) but the program is much better with fighters.
I concur Kevin although I am not a MMA fighter ( Krav Maga and other forms of CQB) the only thing is an instructor right next to you correcting your form.... I even throw in a few sprawls when shadow boxing during the workout. Aurelio and Alexandre brought the hurt during their workouts but Steve Pfiesters workout was the most intense from beginning to end. Stay strong and continue to strive for excellence.... The only easy day was yesterday....
I have no martial arts experience what so ever but I still love these workouts and the time coach takes to help us learn the techniques. I have liked every single workout of this that I have done but I gotta agree. Steves workout hurt the most. I think the one with Aurelio was the most fun if you can call it that lol. They all are great.
Good stuff coach. Did a barbell complex this morning for about 13 min and got myself whupped, decided to let you whup me again this afternoon. Really good stuff.
I havent done every one of these but the 3 that I have done have been awesome. The one with Steve and Blake kinda snuck up on me, I didnt feel like i was doin a whole lot and then all of a sudden i was sweat drenched and suckin wind. Today didnt take long for me to be sayin DAGGUM. I watched this one on monday, and saw the ab work finish, but the video froze up and wouldnt go past the last set of mt climbers so I didnt get it ALL done but with my complex I did this morning what i did get done was more than enough. That not resting between circuits let alone exercises is killer stuff. I like it.
The episodes with Blake & Steve really do sneak up on you. Once the focus and time shifts from technique to conditioning the pace gets intense. Episode 5 was killer.
