Scott I see 10 min abs on the schedule. Any feedback. I like the idea of having a quick ab workout to add on the end of Chiseled with out a full 30min commitment. Glad to see 8 pack still there though as I like to try and work that in 2-3 times a week. Thanks for all you do on the show.
Hey Scott, can you and your crazy mind come up with some way to do a resisted plank?
I've reached a point that my shoulders just can't keep up and thought maybe if there was a way to add resistance I could do the plank for a shorter time but still be working my abs just as much without my shoulders giving way first.
Oh Darryl I hate you so much, but in a good way. You keep pushing me beyond my breaking point. Got 6:10 on my plank this evening! Every muscle in my body is sore right now.
Can you get your 10? You called my out again and I responded. Now it's your turn. You can do it!
All right Darryl I held up my end of the deal. Got 5:15 on my plank today. I did it before I got to far into the workout so I wouldn't already be dead, but none the less I did it! Shoulders, abs, and lower back are on fire now!
I want everyone to try and get at least 30 seconds better than their best time. Come on it's mind over matter we can do! If you want it you gotta work for it.
Jackson, I held up my end today, just finished doing plank. I made 9:2. Really wish I could of made it just 58 seconds more and I would of reached my goal of 10 minutes. Let me know when your ready to try for 6 and I will try for 10. With you doing Planks right along with me, It gives me just that much more incentive to make sure I do them and make my goal.
Dude WTH is in the water over there lol? 9 minutes? You need to go on some kinda fitness show or something lol. Isnt that like fittest person in the world like numbers lol? Seriously. Im dead after half of that and I thought I was in pretty good shape. Great job
Nothing like a Saturday morning Episode 246. My core is spent! Scott you are right on about giving it a couple of weeks. I am already seeing huge gains in my ability to hold the plank and such. A huge shout out to Jackson Klein for a 4 min plank. Way to go!
Joe, pain is not the word. Even after all the exercise I have done on Abs and Chiseled I still am very sore then next day. Still sore from doing Legs on Chiseled and now doing Abs, now that is tough. The goal is to keep getting better and better and stronger as you push through.
Scott, got 3 minute superman done and it took every ounce of strength I had to make it. That is going to be tough to get more than that, but will try. Love these workouts. Fighting off a cold that is moving into my chest but still have to push through. Have a goal to meet with Jackson and nothing is going to stop me from trying. Stay Strong and keep the Faith.
That was emotional! Trying to keep doing the free fall move at the end......with my border terrier licking my ears and making me laugh, made my core even more sore (if that is possible). Please tell me that everyone else was hurting like me....and is still hurting.....it hurts to burp! What's that all about?
246 down. Great workout, Scott. I started to die with those one leg pikes. Got it done tho. I tried some toes to bar instead of accordions just in case they come up in the crossfit open. I just can not do those. Gotta keep pushin it
4 minute plank for me. Wanted to give up after 2 minutes but I closed my eyes and went into beast mode and cranked out another 2 minutes. Still shooting for that 5 minute plank, maybe this weekend.
Jackson, thats beast mode, little man. Great job. I think my longest is 2 something. Not even sure lol. 4 minutes seems so far away. I gotta try it by itself and for time one of these days.
244 done. Glad to get back on track with Eight Pack. Scott, not sure if you and Rob realized this, but on this particular show played back on the Roku box your mic was hot before you went live. Sounds like you are not fond of Miami.
Great workout. The bicycle kicks/get ups combination was tough. Keep pushing us hard.
K PEOPLE. It was bound to happen. It took almost a year but it finally happened. I was doing kneeling ab crunches and I got lazy with checking the door. PEOPLE...ALWAYS CHECK THE DOOR. So im crunching away and BAM. I just wasnt paying attention because I heard a click first and didnt think anything of it. Next thing I know the door opens (on the down swing of the exercise no less) and the anchor and bands came crashing down with force. Right on the back of the neck and head. I actually had to lay there for about 30 seconds cuz I was just like "WTF" just happened. Needless to say I have a nice welt back there. Moral of the story. Always check the door. I just got lazy.
Did 244 today. This was a great ab workout. So glad that I have put this into my regular workout routine. Thanks for such a good show and your commitment to the show.
