Is this a good workout for a 27 year old male, 190 pounds, 5'6" and 20% body fat? I know I am in a bad shape but I have past experience with exercising in general. I am currently following body toning exercises from the Bodylastics program. My goal is to get lean up to 15-10 BF% in a few months and get around 150 pounds. I know my diet plays a big role here, but what form of exercise regimen would you recommend me? Thank you in advance.

Welcome Juan! At your height and weight, 20% BF is not that bad. I recommend Chiseled (you may want to start with series 1-3, then jump in to the current series) and Chiseled Cardio 1-2 times per week. You can also incorporate the 10-minute Tornado abs workout a few times per week, unless you have a lot of belly fat to lose. If so, I would focus on the cardio. It's great that you have specific and ambitious goals, but be patient with the weight loss and don't get discouraged if it does not come down as quick as you would like. Sure, you can try that and see how your body reacts. The Chiseled Cardio workouts are pretty intense, especially the more current ones. You might want to start with Tuesday/Thursday and then rest the weekend. Or, do something a bit lighter on Saturday and rest on Sunday.

Playing catchup....got Episode 523 done this morning....I don't know if it's because I've missed so many workouts or this was just so hard I left a puddle the size of a lake on the floor, I actually asked my son who spilled something all over the floor and then realized it was me dripping. Smile ha! So glad I was able to wake up this morning even though I turned my alarm clock off again this morning at 6am....somehow I then proceeded to get up at 6:30am....now shower and work...have a great day everybody....good start to mine!

Thanks for mentioning my name Blake. Feel like a celeberty. Want to thank you for reminding workout partners to be careful of their shoulders. I've been to 3 different ortho docs in the last 6-7 years for mine and they all tell me I need a replacement (torn labrum, bone spur, no cartlidge, etc.) I've been getting platlett injections for couple of years and that has stabilized it and switching from weights to Bodylastics in January has been the best move I ever made. I've made tremendous gains without further damage and lost 19 lbs. doing Chisled. Even starting to see a little abs. Appreciate everything you do Blake. If you ever want to start hitting the senior market, I'd be glad to help. Jim Carlson.

I'm 58 Jim and I totally agree about the shoulders. In fact, I think the workouts overwork mine, so I am careful. I go for the reps using yellow rather than losing form using green on the burnout sessions.

Got a little behind. Me and the Wife just hit 523 today with our new ultra anchors which are great by the way. My triceps are hurting more from those push ups than my chest. And those preacher curls! I Love those!

Great workout today! I'm getting tired of legs,shoulders,triceps. I did 3 the other day. Then hit one more yesterday! I guess that's payback for not hitting them live!
